Hi Jodaw, I cannot locate a baptsim record for a Laughlan Bracken or Elizabeth Langley (two born but one in County Down and the other in County Armagh) both now in Northern Ireland.
The names are found where you mention, this is around Birr in Offally which closely borders Tipperary, appears to be more Langley names in Tipperary. The fact that I cannot find one only means the church records do not exist, you do not mention a religion but I see most are RC with occassional Church of Ireland, all the Brackens I found in Offally were around Tullamore about 20 miles from Birr. You can see here that records for the catholic parish only commence in 1838 so both birth and marriages could be missing.
There was a tax called the Tithes from 1824 to 1838 and you can see who paid here, this only applied to those holding over an acre of land. there are 48 Brackens but only one Langley in Crinkle, Birr, this is just outside Birr town. So possible your Elizabeth's family, on this site Offaly is Kings County.
http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp There are 38 Langley in Tipperary. (It is a large county) the country population around this time was over 6 million I believe.
To assist with townlands etc this is a good site, note all the names in the Tithes match as the Tithes was a church tax and the site here is civil areas, often differed slighty or in name. https://www.townlands.ie/
