Hi, I'm trying to find the family of a Catherine Boland born c1843 and her brother Patrick Boland born c1850. Parents were Thomas Boland and Mary Hughes. Catherine married a David Doyle and Patrick marrried a Mary Walsh. Both the marriages were in Scotland but believe they moved back to Mayo later. Catherine stated she was from Kilcummin, Mayo.Also trying to link a Richard and Andrew Boland to Thomas (maybe brothers).

Update: Found Mary Boland living in Carrowstrana, Lacken in 1901 census. Patrick is dead by this time. Known children of Patrick and Mary

Looking for family info on David Boland and Catherine O'Malley, of Kilcummin married 1912 and James Boland and Celia Corcoran married 1930 also of Kilcummin.

Can't tell if you have used www.irishgenealogy.ie which is a free site which has copies of civil records: births 1864-1916, marriages 1870-1940 an ddeaths 1877-1965.

Only just found this site whilst searching for my father's ww2 records.
David Boland and Catherine o'malley were my grandparents although I believe Catherine died young and I did meet David on a number of occasions.
What is your connection to them?

Hi Glenn, sorry but just read your reply. Your grandfather had 4 older brothers that were born here in scotland. Your great grandparents were married here. Your great grandfather and his sister came from Mayo to stay with our side family for a short time in the 1860's before returning.
