Bernard Kelly of Kilmore

RoscommonKilmore (Roscommon)

I'm looking for any information on Bernard (Barney) Kelly. His grave stone in Claremont, New Hampshire indicates that he was born in 1787 in "Kimore, Co. Roscommon. I don't know for sure if this means Kilmore Village, Kilmore Townland or Kilmore Parish. Some records indicate that his parents were Edward and Annah or Hanora. Bernard may also have had a brother named "Peter". Bernard and his family lived for a time in Lebanon, New Hampshire and later moved to Barnard, Vermont.

The RC records for Kilmore/Aughrim RC parish start in 1816. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0539 ; I did find an 1827 marriage in Kilmore for a Bernard Kelly and there was also an 1828 marriage to a Maria McDermott. Do you know the name of his wife?

Bernard was married twice that I know of. His first wife's name was Bridget Duffy. He married his second wife, Margaret Bannon, in the U.S.
