Hi This is my brick wall and need help please.

My Archibald Stephenson/stevensonAccording to the 1841 Census born abt 1786 Ireland woolwich kent England

Married14 Aug 1809St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich to Elizabeth Pegden

Then Again21/10/1827Lee, Kent, England to Eleanor Davis

He died27th December 1848Plumstead, Kent, England

I cannot seem to find from where he came in Ireland or his parents or siblings? DNA done have found he may have been from Eyrecourt Galway

So would be delighted if I can break this wall down!

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

More than likely, Archibald came from one of the counties in Northern Ireland. I could not locate a baptismal record on Roots Ireland and there are very few churches which have records back to 1786.

You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
