William (1830-1911) was the husband of Jennet Tippin born August 12, 1834, Death: July 12, 1923 (88). She was the daughter of john Elliot and Mary Elliot (Campbell) and I believe born in Woodbridge Ontario.

William (1830-1911) was the father of Francis Tippin; John Tippin; Elizabeth Langstaff; George Tippin; Sarah Jane Tippin

William Tippin's father was born in Belfast according to a census in 1881.
