Samuel Love was born in County Cavan, Ireland about 1823.  In 1844 he married Isabella Irwin.  She also was born in Cavan about 1822.  Their first child James was born in 1844 and their second child Mary was born in 1846.

They immigrated to Canada prior to 1850 as the next child living was born in Elizabethtown, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada.  The family are found in the 1851 census for Elizabethtown, Leeds Co, Ontario, Canada.  Her sister born in 1855 it is believed she was born in East Wawanosh Township, Huron Co., Ontario, Canada, so they had moved at some point to Huron Co. before 1855 and where the rest of their 10 children were born.

They both died and where buried in Huron Co.  Samuel and his son Alexander were tragically killed in their horse and buggy at a railway crossing on 1 June 1880.  Samuel was 56 and Alexander was 20 years old.  Isabella died on 31 Jan 1901 at age 78.

Many of their children moved to the western Canadian provinces or USA states.

James (1844-1919) died in Wolf Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Mary (1846-1908) died in Huron Co., Ontario, Canada

Samuel (1850-1932) died in Polk Co, Wisconsin, USA

Richard (1853-1909) died in Wolf Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Eliza Jane (1854-1918) died in Leduc, Alberta, Canada

Isabella (1855-1926) died in Huron Co., Ontario, Canada

Frances (1859- ?) prob. died in Saskatchewan, Canada

Alexander (1859-1880) died in Huron Co., Ontario, Canada

Sarah Ann (1861- ?)

William (1867-1930) died in Huron Co., Ontario, Canada

I believe there is a strong possibility that Samuel Love is the Samuel Love age 18 seen in the 1841 census for Killashandra, Cavan.  And Isabella age 19 in the 1841 census for Killashandra, Cavan.
