Robert immigrated via New York to Cuyahoga, Ohio, where he married. By 1850 he and his family had moved to Brooklyn, Lee County, Illinois. I'm looking for his ancestors, as he came from Kilberry, Kildare, Ireland.
Co. Kildare, or Cill Dara in Irish, is located in the mid-east region of Ireland. It is famous world-wide for its horse racing, with the Curragh, Punchestown and Naas racecourses located here. Our county town is Naas and we have a population of approximately 186,000. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.

Our aim is to connect all people with a link to Kilberry (Kildare). You may live here, have visited here or maybe are tracing ancestors who left long ago. In any case, we’re sure to have lots to share and are delighted to welcome you.
