My 3rd great grandfather. Born in Cork, Country Cork. Married Jennie Alexandria Byers on 29 April 1862. Emigrated to the United States. Went west. Our only information beyond that is a rumor he died in New Mexico. Jennie passed on in 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
County Cork, or Corcaigh in Irish, is the southernmost county in Ireland and also the largest county. It is known as “The Rebel County”. We are home to the Blarney Stone and known for our beaches and beautiful scenery. We have a population of approximately 542,196. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.
