Sister Margaret (1825-1906); brother Martin (1833-1913). Martin may be his son from a first marriage, not his brother.

Married Mary Kelly 16 Jan 1842 in Tibohine; probably a second marriage.

Children: Mary (1841-1885); John (1842-1892); Peter (1847-1896); Ann E. (1852-1946); Ellen Mary (1854-1940); Elizabeth (1857-?). All were baptized in Tibohine/Elphin parish. John, Ann, and Ellen immigrated to the United States around 1870s and settled in the Oranges, New Jersey. The family lived in the town land of Ratra or more generally in the region around Frenchpark, County Roscommon.
