Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in USA

I've been able to trace my Joyce family lineage to Patrick Joyce who married Bridget (Cortney) Joyce in about 1870. they migrated to the USA where they had several children, although the one I'm directly related to is John J Joyce, who lived in Pawlings NY (White Plains), and was Chief of Police. he was my 3rd great grandfather.

(Patrick Joyce's father was supposedly named Richard Joyce, but mothers name is currently unknown, i have no further info on him though.)

the other childrens names were as such:

Delia Joyce (O'donnell), Patrick (Patsy) Joyce, James Joyce, William H Joyce, Daniel Joyce, Nellie Joyce, Richard P Joyce, and Edwin H Joyce.

I've tried researching anything about Patrick and Bridget Joyce, but found no birth, baptism, immigration or marriage records, just dead ends. oddly enough, the same went for John J Joyce, who was the Chief of Police in White Plains NY, and died in 1934. (I will include a picture of John J Joyce).

Patrick Joyce had a great granddaughter, Gloria Patricia Joyce, who was then my great grandma.

my main goal here is trying to find if i have living relatives in Ireland, (I more than slightly would like to move there someday) AND I'm writing a bit of a research project on my Joyce lineage.

If anyone suspects that we may have the same Joyce lineage based on this info, please lmk!
