Patrick married Elizabeth Kinsella (m. UNK); children were James (b. UNK), Mathew (b. 1821 Ballon & Rathoe), Martin (b. 1824 Dunleckny), Elizabeth (b. 1826 Dunleckny), Gerald (b. 1828 Dunleckny [transcribed as Gerald but very hard to read, may be something else]), Terrence (b. 1830 Dunleckny), Sally (b. 1832 Dunleckny), and Catherine (b. 1834 Dunleckny).

 

Patrick, his wife, and at least several of his children migrated to the USA during and shortly after the potato famine, initially living in Troy, New York for a few years and finally settling in Chicago. Patrick died in 1866 and is buried in Calvalry Catholic Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
