Mary or Rosemary Ann Hogan

My paternal Grandmother was known as Mary Ann and/or Rosemary nee Hogan. Her birth year is given in different documents as 1889 or 1887. She married Harold Charles Robert in Portsmouth Hampshire UK in 1916 recorded as Rosemary Hogan. We have no recollection of being told she had ever gone to the USA or Australia. We dimly recall that she had a brother called Daniel , (our great uncle Dan). She had 3 children, my father , Harold George Robert (1917) Patricia Mary Robert (1919) and Daniel Robert known as Peter (c1925). She lived in Portsmouth until the early 1960s when she and my grandfather moved in with Patricia and her husband Eric Bemister in Epsom Surrey UK.

We know nothing of her family other than she was born in Bandon co Cork. Should have asked more when we were younger, but my father died when I was 26, and there was no one else to ask who knew anything. I simply cannot find a Mary Ann or a Rosemary Hogan outside of the USA in any records to trace her parents , siblings and ancestors. I remember my father saying than his grandmother never spoke any English till the day she died.
