Michael Kelly is my Grandfather on my mother’s side. He was born & died in Riverstown, Co. Sligo. He was a carpenter & electrician and had worked at Cooperhill House, Riverstown. He also served in the British Army, in the Royal Engineers but was discharged with a pension after being gassed during WW1. I never got to meet him as he died before I was born.
