Probably born in Cavan, Had a farm in Gartnaneane (probably passed on from his father James Morrow), near Bailieborough. His wife Jane survived him and lived to 1st Feb 1865. His son Joseph took over the family farm, whilst his other son John James Morrow moved 250 yards to Nolagh.
