Migrated to/Born in USA

Bart immigrated to America sometime in the early 1850s with his brother William Boylan and William’s wife Julia Murray. They had left their infant child William behind in Ireland. The family was reported to have lived in the region of Dublin and were Catholic. However no baptismal records can be found for them in Dublin City or the surrounding area. Siblings included Hugh, Lawrence and Mary. It was thought Hugh was the oldest brother and had a tea shop in Dublin. Bartholomew, William and Julia settled in Orange, New Jersey, but William and Julia soon left Orange and moved on to Elyria, Ohio. Bart stayed on in Orange for some reason where he met Sarah McGuirk. After they married, they moved to Elyria where they raised a family of 5 children. Bartholomew lived the remainder of his life in Elyria.
