From the birth, marriage and death records of James, Philip, Elizabeth and Mary Connell/O'Connell, their father Patrick (Patt) was married to Mary Sullivan. They appear to have lived in Glantane, Macroom and Newmarket throughout their marriage with most of the children being born in Newmarket. Their son James' arrival records to Australia in 1858 note that both parents were deceased by the time he left Ireland.
