Migrated to/Born in USA

ANN AND MARY KIRBY: Ann Kirby emigrated to USA about 1848 and married Thomas Condon (from Furrow, Cork, Ireland) when she was in the USA. Her sister, Mary Kirby married Thomas Condon's brother, William. I believe they also married in the USA. I believe that Thomas and William Condon also emigrated about 1848 but cannot find a passenger list that confirms this. I was told by an Irish gentleman that the Kirby's were from Ballygiblin but I cannot find any Irish records to document any birth location so that's my only clue. What I also don't know is if Ann and Mary Kirby knew Thomas and William Condon BEFORE they emigrated. Am just hoping that someone from Ballygiblin might be able to eithr affirm or deny that the Kirby in the 1830s and 1840s were from Ballygiblin.
