Mary Hazel was born  May 11,1860  in Garristown , Dublin to  James  Hazel and Mary Grant. 

She had four siblings, Anne, Eliza, Thomas, and Daniel. 

She and her sister Anne Hazel came over to America in 1883. 

They changed their name to Hazelton.

Mary married James Walsh( who changed his name to Welsh) .  They were married and settled in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania.   They went on to have 6 children. Richard, James, Mary Jane(my grandmother) , Alice and Rose.
