These are the facts I have:
Mary Nugent's parents were Thomas Nugent and Mary ???.
Mary Nugent married Thomas Moroney in Clare, Ireland - maybe in Tulla in 1839. They had eight children all born around Killiloe - Catherine, Patrick, Michael, Ellen, Mary, Matthew, Hanorah and Margaret. They migrated to Australia, arriving in Brisbane in 1852 on the ship 'Maria Somes'.
County Clare, or An Clár in Irish, is located in the mid-west region of Ireland. Clare is known for its beautiful scenery and we are home to the famous Burren and Cliffs of Moher. We have a population of approximately 117,196. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.
