Mary Anne Sullivan born 1821 in Cork. She, at the age of 16 immigrated to Melbourne Australia. She was my great, great grandmother. She married in Melbourne, but I have no other information about her.
County Cork, or Corcaigh in Irish, is the southernmost county in Ireland and also the largest county. It is known as “The Rebel County”. We are home to the Blarney Stone and known for our beaches and beautiful scenery. We have a population of approximately 542,196. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.
