Hello my great grandmother was Mary Anne O'Leary  born in 1860 Tralee parish. Her father was Michael and mother was Marie O'Connel   Michael and Marie's  father  were both nailers married in Tralee but both from Castletown brere  wherever that is.

Mary Anne married my great grandfather John O'Connor in Tralee in 1882 he was in the Army and that year they went to India  somewhere where 2 Boys John and Christopher were born before returning to Ireland, I know the rest of their history. I would Like to know about John's time in India  I think John was born in  Glenbeigh Killarney Parish  to Humphrey and Julia O'Connor  in 1835.  John had 2 brothers that I know of - Michael and Partick  Patrick in Ccousse and Michal in Gurt malone  does this mean they were  itinerant farm labourers? Humphrey's father was Dominic  Connor who married  Cahterine  Donnagh in Glenagh Killarney Parish  he had John Patrick and  Humphrey  I know nothing about Dominic from Ireland genealogy i.e. Catherines parent were Michael and Gobinet Horgan  married in 1788 I have traced all this from Ireland i.e. and crossed reference from there hopefully accurately  Maria Connels parents were John  Connell and Mary King  from Cahersiveen Tralee parish  her grand parents were Richard King  and Mary Harris  married in Tieralea  in 1788 Kilnaughtin Parish  they had   7 children Matilda  William  Mary   Richard Jane  Elizabeth  Ann  .I believe all but Mary went to America  but when ?  according to my grandmother  I wonder if anybody out there can fill in some blanks fro me please?

Thank you. Maureen in Australia
