Kieran Bergan (Kyran Bergin) born about 8 Nov 1846 in Srah/Shragh, Laois to Timothy Bergin and Catherine Phelan/Whelan.  He was baptized in Johnstown, Kilkenny on 8 Nov 1846.  Siblings (all baptized in Johnstown, Kilkenny with a residence of Srah/Shragh) include John, baptized 26 Feb 1832; Mary, baptized 20 Mar 1834; Patrick, baptized 17 Mar 1839; William, baptized 23 Nov 1841; Elizabeth, baptized 30 Mar 1844.  Kieran arrived in New York some time prior to 1872 when he married Mary Kinsella of Rathdowney.  They settled in Auburn, Cayuga county, New York, where many of Kieran's cousins had settled (children of William Bergin/an and Mary Ann Barber).  I'm seeking information on the parents and siblings of Kieran.  Did they also emigrate or remain in Ireland?
