This is my maternal grandmother's (Hazel Frances Wilson) mother who was born and died in San Francisco, CA. Hazel told me firsthand that the Driscoll side was from County Cork, but not what city specifically.
County Cork, or Corcaigh in Irish, is the southernmost county in Ireland and also the largest county. It is known as “The Rebel County”. We are home to the Blarney Stone and known for our beaches and beautiful scenery. We have a population of approximately 542,196. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.
