John Wheeley was born about 1834 and was on the 1851 census for Dublin living at St. Catherine's Quay.
John may have first immigrated to Nova Scotia and then to Quebec. John was an innkeeper and tavern keeper.
He married Abigail Walsh of Pembroke, Ontario who died about 1868. John died in 1869. Any information about this Wheeley family in Ireland will be very appreciated.
