Born Townland of Springfield - not sure whether Co. Offaly or Co. Westmeath - married Mary Bridget Guilfoyle from Co. Galway.

My Great Grandfather, John J. O'Reilly was born in the townland of Springfield. I'm unsure whether in Co. Westmeath or Co. Offaly. He married Mary Bridget Guilfoyle, from Co. Galway

They had a first child, John, born  November  1853 in Springfield. They also had a daughter, Maryann, in 1854.

They emigrated USA in 1956 - lived, worked, raised a large family and died in Chicago, USA. My Great Grandfather died in 1894. My Great Mother died in 1902.
