My GG-grandfather's name was Michael Hardin/Harden/Harding, according to 1901 census he was born in County Waterford, he was 54 in 1901 therefore he was born in 1847,he lived and worked (as a gardener) at Headborough House in Knockanore.( I would like to find out did he have brothers and sisters, who his mother was and more about his father, John.) In 1874 he married (at the age of 26) Bridget Baldwin (housekeeper). According to their marriage record his father's name was John Harding (he was deceased by then according to this record) and Bridget's father's name is William Baldwin. They had 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. The eldest Patrick died aged 8,the girls never married but the youngest (Johanna /Hanna) became a teacher at Knockanore National school.William followed in his father's footsteaps as a gardener at Headborough House and had a family. He married a Morressy and had 3 girls. I would like to find out more about this side of the family.Thomas had a family marrying Mary Quinn form Abbeyleix in County Laois, they met while working at Rochestown house near Ardfinnan in County Tipperary. He died aged 35 in 1912, they had 2 sons, one was my grandfather.
