John Connor, my great, great grandfather, married Julia Sullivan in Carrigaline about 1830. Son Bartholomew was born circa 1835 and emigrated to Boston at a very early age.
County Cork, or Corcaigh in Irish, is the southernmost county in Ireland and also the largest county. It is known as “The Rebel County”. We are home to the Blarney Stone and known for our beaches and beautiful scenery. We have a population of approximately 542,196.
