John was born in about 1802 in Ireland. John married Mary Ryan (Born in 1802 and died in 1876). John had 3 boys, all born in Ireland: Patrick Brennan in 1836, James Brennan in 1844 and Michael Brennan in 1845 in Kilahagan, Ireland. It is possible that there were actually 4 boys - 1 additional being John Brennan born in 1841. Possibly left Ireland in 1850 to America.
