Born in Kilgefin Parish circa 1834. Migrated to the US prior to 1855. Settled in Rondout in Kingston, New York. Married Mary Ann [Unknown] at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Rondout on 16 Aug 1855. Fought in US Civil War in the 120th New York Volunteer Infantry
