From what I can tell, Ellen Connell was born in Cork, iIeland.
She then went to Wales where she married John Connelly ( Conley, Conoly etc.) in 1853.
They had three children in Wales, Michael,-1854, Mary 1858, and my Great grandfather William M Connelly in 1862.
In 1868 the came to America and settled in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
County Cork, or Corcaigh in Irish, is the southernmost county in Ireland and also the largest county. It is known as “The Rebel County”. We are home to the Blarney Stone and known for our beaches and beautiful scenery. We have a population of approximately 542,196. We look forward to helping you connect with your ancestors’ place of origin.
