She was one of six or 7 daughters born to John O'Neill and Phillis Corry.

The other daughters were: Margaret (b.1846) who married James Kelly in Kilmaley,in 1870, She died in Dec 1884, in Kilmaley, County Clare, Ireland.

Annie (b. 1858) (may have been baptised "Phillis Ann"). She emigrated to Adelaide, South Australia, and married John Stack, in Norwood, Adelaide, in 1894. She died in Adelaide in 1947.

Eliza (b. 1862) emigrated to South Australia, between 1879 and 1882. She married Fred Munday, in Adelaide, South Australia, in February 1883, and died in Adelaide, in October 1918.

I cannot find a shipping record for Eliza, nor Annie. Mary may have emigrated on the ship "Devon" in 1880, from Plymouth, England, sponsored by Bridget Carmody, of Appila.
