Irish Nuns in South Africa
<p>"IRISH NUNS IN AFRICA"<br /> On June 29th at the Dominican Convent at Salisbury, Rhodesia, South Africa, Miss Katie Duffy - daughter of Mr James Duffy of Feravella, Carbury was received into the order of St. Dominic and given the name of Sister M Bridget. Miss Duffy, with four other girls who have also been received into the Order, left Ireland last October for the "Dark Continent" to join the Dominican Nuns in the great work in which they are engaged, endeavouring to gather the straying sheep into the fold. Miss Duffy has been changed to Bulawayo since her reception.</p>
