Daniel Dougherty

Daniel’s birthdate listed as 1852 on US 1900 census, but we have 17 Feb 1859. His parents names are listed on US as Katie Boyce abt 1825-1926 and Philip Dougherty 10 Mar 1825 and death 18 Sep 1891 if correct. Parish may be Bally Gorman.
I’m wondering if they left on their own steam. I found a Philip landowner and a Daniel flax grower near Malin. No baptisms or marriages. Daniel married Johanna Kenney in Chicago 4 Oct 1875 at Old Saint John’s in Chicago. Siblings may be Thomas, Dennis and John Frances. Not sure.

I couldn’t find any birth baptism docs and do not know if he was Catholic or Protestant. Johanna was Catholic, marriage and burial Catholic. Usually helpful to find baptisms.
